“One of the keys to growth and wellness is gathering a better understanding of yourself, including how your past continues impacts your present.”
~ Dr. Nail

Dr. Lisa Nail, Psy.D., MSCP
I am a licensed clinical psychologist, a clinical psychopharmacologist, and founder of Attune & Bloom Psychology PLLC. While, I am licensed in Pennsylvania, I have PsyPact mobility and am able to provide tele-mental health services in 40+ states.
I believe whole-heartedly in providing evidence-based, comprehensive, holistic, and trauma-informed care. I view the mind-body connection as inseparable, we do not exist in a vacuum and cannot treat physical, often referred to as medical health separate from psychological wellness. To understand an individual is to look at their whole existence and as such, explore their physical/medical, cognitive, emotional, relational, systemic, and self concept.
I founded Attune & Bloom Psychology from the above beliefs of providing services that approach the individual as a whole. My education in clinical psychology, health psychology, and clinical psychopharmacology, often referred to as medical psychology with years of clinical experience working in medical, psychological, and integrated settings combine to provide you research-informed and evidence-based care treating the whole you.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time family, friends, and my two dogs, Daisy May and Millie Rose.
Therapy Approach
My therapeutic style is Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral. I approach treatment collaboratively, from a strength-based perspective. I believe treatment requires the foundation of a strong therapeutic alliance, one of trust, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, which is a basic acceptance and support of a person regardless of what the person says or does. I work with clients to identify how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors impact one another, and together we develop ways to improve these patterns. We explore how your relationships throughout your life span have impacted your understanding of yourself, others, and the interactions with the world. We create a safe, compassionate space for you to try new ways of thinking and evaluate behavioral changes that may improve your functioning and relationships. I integrate techniques from different theories of development including attachment theory, family system theories, and brain development and neuroplasticity.
My goal is for you to live a life that feels in more alignment with your authentic self and that life transitions and challenges begin to feel more manageable. One piece of this puzzle is building greater self-efficacy, which is your confidence and belief in your capacity to follow through in meeting the challenges you are faced with; having the ability and energy to manage your motivation, behavior, and social environment. By building this resiliency and capability you can foster a more positive outlook and often experience less stress in the face of life’s challenges.
